In order to improve the problematic environmental situation we currently face, we first need to forge collaborations between diverse disciplines. This GCOE allows me to collaborate with team members from a range of different disciplines, creating a multi-disciplinary environment such as I have never experienced before, and I am currently working to determine which methods will be most appropriate for me to make a meaningful contribution to the GCOE using my own particular expertise.

Research Themes

I research the following themes from an economics perspective:

  • Productivity of energy industries
  • Effects of corporate measures tackling environmental problems
  • Environmental Policy
